Shan Netball Training Academy

Our mission

Challenged to reach their potential

At Shan Netball, we are committed to creating a high-performance environment where every athlete is challenged to reach their potential through expert coaching, high standards and genuine care. We believe long-term development is more important than short-term success, encouraging athletes to embrace the process, build resilience and develop confidence both on and off the court. Our aim is to produce skilled, intelligent and resilient netballers who love the game, respect others and strive for excellence in everything they do.

Find the right pathway for you

Whether you're ready to trial for a place in the Shan Netball Training Academy or would like to experience our coaching first, there are different ways to get involved. Choose the option that’s right for you.

Open trials each spring and summer

We hold open trials each spring/summer ahead of the new season, with a mid-season trial opportunity in December for selected age groups, subject to availability.

Coaching at a holiday camp

If trials are not currently open, athletes are welcome to attend one of our holiday camps, where they can experience Shan Netball coaching and be informally assessed by our coaching team.

If you're unsure which option is best, we'd love to hear from you. Get in touch with our team to discuss the most suitable pathway for you.
